Dogs, Cats, and 2PM (part 2)

First night's dinner in Bangkok was pretty amazing. Afterwards, we went and got ourselves some Thai foot massages which they provided at the hotel for about 300 Baht ($10). The massage parlor's exterior was crawling with nasty white lizards so it was an adventure just trying run straight through the doors without stopping. I did not want these things to pull a fast one and jump on me.

"just try and get past me."

Gross. But other than that, the massage itself was quite nice and well worth 10 dollars.

We got up bright and early the next morning excited about our flight to Phuket.

pronounced "Poo - ket" ... not "Fuh...

As soon as our plane landed at the Phuket International Airport, we quickly got in a cab to take us to the Ferries. Our next / final destination was Ko Phi Phi.

"WOW! ... that's a really cool shirt!"

"we're almost there...."

The ferry ride was about an hour and a half long but it was well worth the trip. When we arrived, we quickly checked into our hotel and headed out for some grub.

"We're here!"

Hungry, and a little tired from all the flying and boating, we found a neat little restraunt by the beach to relax. Here's the menu...

"That's some terrible photoshop-ing."

"~ $4 - $5 dollars."
I don't exactly remember the names of our dishes, but Carol ordered some kind of chicken noodle soup and i ordered some kind of red curry... sounds pretty generic, I know.

"They knew I was coming."

"Thai chicken noodle?"

"Red Curry."

Carol's noodle soup was actually quite delicious, it was very peppery (I love pepper). And despite the bland looking color, the chicken broth was actually a little sweet and tangy.

My dish on the other hand, was just average. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either.
I did however, enjoy eating it with my Star shaped serving of rice...

"... cause I'm special."
Of course, no meal on an exotic Island is complete without drinks...

"I'll have the margarita."
Carol, being female, ordered sex on the beach...

"WOW!... two straws?!"
Now, I previously warned that there are many... MANY stray cats and dogs in Thailand. It's no different on the island. This particular bum kitteh was quite fond of Carol and kept leaping on her lap.

"kitteh"
Despite our attempts to shoo it away, it kept jumping and hopping on Carol. I guess it was starving or something.

"I can haz noodle soup?"

I did feel sorry for the little guy, but I was on vacation. I don't got time to sympathize.

"jerk"
